Ire Knitted Sweater - Sand Melange
- A chunky knit sweater in sand melange Danish Gotland Crossbreed Sheep wool mixed with soft Merino wool. All our merino wool is mulesing free! People with sensitive skin might experience that wool products in general are somewhat scratchy. Our tip is try freezing the garment overnight, or use an environmentally friendly fabric softener.
- The Nordic sheep industry throws away thousands of tons of wool each year due to the fact that no one makes use of the fiber. At RESIDUS we are always on the hunt for high quality leftover! Our Gotland Wool project is created to make use of some of the beautiful Nordic Sheep wool that would otherwise go to waste. our crossbreed is cut and spun in Denmark and knitted in Latvia.
- Made close to home The factory who knitted this garment and the mill who spun the yarn are both in Europe. Above all this means strongworker unions and carefully controlled chemical processes. In addition this means that efficiently stocked trucks transports the knit over short distances.
